Paloma Blanca Style #4358 Lace Bridal Gown

This Dress of the Week is style #4358 from designer Paloma Blanca’s Spring 2013 Collection.

Created from handmade lace, this gown features a strapless, scalloped, sweet-hearted neckline.  The bodice which is also made from the same lace continues, creating the perfect dropped waist.

The dropped waist silhouette is ultra-chic and very flattering for many body types.  It allows brides to show off their shape & curves.  The volume at the bottom of the garment allows brides to have the grand feeling without being in a ballgown.  It also helps to make the waist line look cinched and tiny, just what a girl wants!

Made of Organdy, which is a natural form of organza, the bottom of the gown is flared and flowing.  A scalloped lace hem finishes the gown to perfection!  The chapel train extends for the perfect ceremony...

Congratulations! You said YES when your Prince Charming got down on one knee and asked the questions every girl dreams about: will you marry me?

The planning of a wedding can be completely overwhelming, which is why we want to get you started off with a simple list of things to do within the first two months of getting engaged! Our main advice is this: keep it simple and enjoy the process of planning your wedding with your future spouse!

Don't Stress: This is the most important one! As we mentioned, planning a wedding can seem like a monumental task. Try to remain as calm as possible and enjoy the early part of your engagement being blissfully happy about marrying the person you love. That's what the day is all about anyway. Enjoy it, don't stress!

Think About What You and Your Spouse Want: Upon your engagement, your family, friends, siblings, best friends, hairdresser, dog walker, babysitter from elementary school and anyone else you can imagine will be giving you advice about planning your wedding. When it comes to weddings, people are not shy about sharing their opinions on how they think your day should go. In the first few months, sit down with your spouse and talk about how the TWO OF YOU envision your perfect day. Decide if you want an indoor or outdoor ceremony, discuss what season you'd like to get married in, think about a band vs. DJ, talk about your budget. Once the two of you come up with a vision of your perfect day, write it down and remain true to that idea. Obviously, in planning a wedding, compromises have to be made and things change, but the process is much easier if you have a clear idea of what you and your spouse want out of your day.
